Wooster Engineering Design Services
- Preparation of the Traffic Impact Study in accordance with City and State criteria
- Preparation of the Highway Occupancy Permit Plans, Roadway Construction Plans and Plan Specifications for Penn Avenue, Fifth Avenue and East Liberty Boulevard
- Preparation of Traffic Signal Permit Plans for the intersections of Penn Avenue/Fifth Avenue, Penn Avenue/Bakery Sqaure Way, East Liberty Blvd./Dahlem Place, East Liberty Blvd./Frankstown Avenue, East Liberty Blvd./Hamilton Avenue
- Providing coordination between the developer, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the City of Pittsburgh throughout the preliminary and final design stages
- Providing coordination and design services with private utility companies and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority
- Providing preliminary and final construction cost estimates during the design review phases and final approval process
- Providing technical assistance between the contractor and developer during the bid review sessions
- Developing documentation for funding assistance through the Commonwealth’s practice of using Smart Transportation principles in planning and developing projects
