New Projects

As a major force in the traffic engineering industry David E. Wooster and Associates, Inc. has sustained the difficult economic times and continued our quest to remain at the top of our industry.  As our competition has sustained major decreases in output and staff, we have forged new roads and are working on the following notable projects in 2010:

• Sheetz North Union, Highway Occupancy Permit for roadway and signal improvements along SR 0051, North Union Township, Fayette County, PA.

• Walmart, Moon Township, Traffic Impact Study/Highway Occupancy Permit for roadway and signal improvements along University Boulevard, Broadhead Road, and Beaver Grade Road, Moon Township Allegheny County, PA.

• Pine-Richland School District, Traffic Impact Study and Highway Occupancy Permit for roadway improvements signal installations along Warrendale Road and Babcock Blvd, Pine Township, Allegheny County, PA.

• Park Place at the Meadows Roadway Improvements and Traffic Signal Control, South Strabane Township, Washington County, PA.

• Slippery Rock University Foundation and RBI Developments, Traffic Impact Study and Highway Occupancy Permit for roadway improvements and signal installation along Franklin Street and Grove City Road, Slippery Rock Borough/Township, Butler County, PA.

• Sheetz Mt. Nebo, Traffic Impact Study and Highway Occupancy Permit for the roadway improvements along Mt. Nebo Road and Red Mud Hollow Road in Ohio Township, Allegheny County, PA.

• Sheetz Ross, Traffic Impact Study and Highway Occupancy Permit for the roadway improvements along Babcock Blvd. and Cemetery Road, Ross Township, Allegheny County, PA.

• Mountain View Inn, Traffic Impact Study for the renovation of the Mountain View Inn along with an additional 5 parcels of proposed retail development, Unity Township, Westmoreland County, PA.

• AdVenture Development, McCandless Town Center Development, completion of Phase 1 has led to the second phase of development which consists of 1,000,000 square feet of mixed-use development. David E. Wooster and Associates shall be preparing the Traffic Impact Study, Preliminary and Final roadway and traffic signal design, Town of McCandless, Allegheny County, PA.

• Butler Transit Authority, Evaluation of the expansion of the SR 0528 Park n' Ride, Jackson Township, Butler County, PA

• Rite Aid, Traffic Impact Study for the proposed Rite Aid at the intersection of Jacks Run Road and Lincoln Way, White Oak, Allegheny County, PA.

• Sheetz Benner Pike, Traffic Impact Study and Highway Occupancy Permit for the roadway and signal improvements along Benner Pike and Rolling Ridge Drive, Benner Township, Centre County, PA

• Kratsa Properties, Traffic Impact Study for 2 proposed Hotels, City of Pittsburgh,
  Allegheny County, PA.
